Project Objectives
- to guide Abruzzo startups along a path of internationalization
- to strengthen ties between the two entrepreneurial ecosystems (Abruzzo and Switzerland)
- to create industrial and commercial connections in high-potential sectors
- to provide startups with access to open innovation platforms and programs
Planned Activities
The project includes a set of targeted actions designed to support the commercial and technological growth of the startups participating. These activities combine analysis, partner scouting, networking opportunities, and visibility, with the aim of accelerating their presence in the Swiss market.
Starting from early 2025 and continuing through the end of the year, the following activities are being carried out:
01. Startup Profiling & Market Entry
Profiling of startups to facilitate the commercial introduction of their technological solutions in Switzerland
02. Market Research & Partner Matchmaking
Individual assistance with market research and partner search
03. Business Meetings & Industrial Contacts
04. Swiss Innovation Trends Briefing
An informational session on Swiss corporate demand megatrends at the Zurich office of Kickstart Innovation
05. Participation in Startup Nights
Participation in the specialized trade fair Startup Nights in Winterthur to multiply networking opportunities
Program ECOSWISS 2025
November 6th – Startup Nights, Winterthur
Participation with a dedicated Abruzzo Stand and activities:
- Themed workshops
- Networking sessions: Presence of 8 Abruzzo startups in agritech, manufacturing, education, pharma, and materials, engaging with Swiss investors and corporates
November 7th – Extra-fair Program
Morning (10:00 – 12:00)
Targeted meetings with industry experts at Switzerland’s open innovation platform Kickstart Innovation
Afternoon (from 15:00)
Pitching and reverse pitching sessions with potential investors at the headquarters of the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Switzerland in Zurich
