Liguria Space Tour
Meetings between the space ecosystems of Liguria and Switzerland
The Swiss Space Tour was created with the aim of building a bridge of knowledge and collaboration between Liguria and Switzerland in the space economy sector.
The initiative, coordinated by Liguria International with the support of the Scientific Office of the Embassy of Italy at the Consulate General in Zurich and the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Switzerland, seeks to create the conditions for industrial partnerships and research projects between the space clusters of Switzerland and Liguria, while exploring areas of complementarity and collaboration.
The main objectives are:
- Deepening mutual knowledge between the two space economy ecosystems.
- Facilitating meetings with Swiss academic hubs, research centers, and accelerators.
- Laying the foundation for future technological and commercial collaborations.
- Highlighting complementarities between Ligurian and Swiss expertise.

Planned Activities
The tour includes a program of technical meetings in Zurich, Neuchâtel, and Lausanne, featuring exchanges with leading Swiss players in aerospace industry, research, and innovation. Planned activities include:

Meetings with polytechnics and universities engaged in research and technology transfer.
02. Startup Acceleration & Innovation Hubs
Dialogue with accelerators and incubators specialized in space-tech.
03. Industrial & Cluster Collaboration
Exchanges with industrial associations and aerospace clusters.
04. Institutional & Expert Networking
Institutional networking opportunities and in-depth sessions with industry experts.

The project will cover different areas of aerospace technology, with the goal of exploring complementarities and collaboration opportunities.

The Ligurian delegation will have the opportunity to engage with key players in Swiss innovation and entrepreneurship, identifying growth opportunities and potential investments.

- Researchers and academics from universities and polytechnics.
- Representatives of the innovation and technology transfer ecosystem.
- Representatives of regional industry and aerospace clusters.
- Institutions and organizations supporting internationalization.
The Program
The Ligurian delegation will arrive in Zurich, hosted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Switzerland, for an institutional dinner with Consul Mario Baldi and Swiss representatives of the space economy and internationalization.
