Swiss Tech Program 2026 was created to strengthen and expand the relationships between the innovation ecosystems of Liguria and Switzerland, fostering concrete opportunities for collaboration among universities, research centres, startups, investors and technology-driven companies.
Building on the activities launched through the 2025 Liguria Space Tour, the programme broadens the dialogue between the two territories by focusing on applied research, innovation, advanced industry and internationalisation.

From the Liguria Space Tour to the Swiss Tech Program
The exploratory initiatives carried out in 2025 laid the foundation for dialogue and collaboration between some of the leading stakeholders within the Ligurian and Swiss technology ecosystems.
Swiss Tech Program 2026 represents the natural evolution of this journey, transforming initial connections into concrete opportunities for collaboration, innovation and international growth.

The three Initiatives of 2026
Research and Drones Mission in Switzerland
- Date: 20 May 2026
A dedicated mission involving the University of Genoa and Ligurian companies operating in the drone sector, aimed at exploring collaboration opportunities with Swiss centres of excellence, technology clusters and innovation stakeholders.
A Ligurian delegation composed of universities and innovative companies took part in meetings and site visits with Swiss research centres, technology organisations and industry stakeholders to explore opportunities for collaboration, technology transfer and international development.

Mission in Liguria

A delegation of Swiss stakeholders will visit Liguria to discover regional excellence in research, innovation and industry.
